Well, this is the third time I’ve typed this post as I tried to post it twice on the bus earlier, but my high-speed packet data access failed on me at a critical moment!
So the European Court has ruled that the UK DNA Database is illegal. Quite rightly too and a surprising usefulness for the Court. But even if it were legal, it certainly isn’t ethnical, nor is it in line with the United Kingdom’s great heritage of civil liberties which is being consistently eroded by Labour.
But then shouldn’t the other incursions on our civil liberties, such as ID cards and the despicable plan to force us to “show our papers” to the police in our burgeoning Police State, be ruled illegal. The “show us your papers” legislation is like something out of ‘Allo ‘Allo, i.e. Hitler would have been proud of such a policy.
Isn’t time we stand up to these incursions of our liberty?

It would be ironic if the ultimate saviour of British liberties should be a European Court. That said, to protect our rights, I will take assistance from any quarter.

Yes, we shall see what happens next. Though there are more pressing matters for the Government , like the state of society.
